MIKASAKAN, located in Wakayama, Japan, at the gates of the historic Kokawadera Temple and near Mount Koya, is a hotel reborn in 2024 from the former luxury inn Mikasakan, originally built during the Taisho era. The property now features a café that doubles as a shared space and a private sauna available for exclusive use. Guests can enjoy a cold bath utilizing pure well water in the original tubs from the inn, as well as a wood deck with views of Mount Akiha, offering the perfect setting to rejuvenate your body and mind.

MATSU Pine Room (up to 3 people)

This room features three single beds and a work desk. When you open the frosted glass door, you can enjoy views of the street and the river. It is the only room with windows on two sides, allowing plenty of natural light to flood in. A spacious and comfortable space, perfect for groups or families.

TAKE Bamboo Room (up to 3 people)

This room is equipped with one single bed, one semi-double bed, and a work desk. Opening the frosted glass door reveals views of the river. The room includes a traditional alcove (tokonoma), offering a glimpse of the pre-renovation Japanese house ambiance. Ideal for those who wish to enjoy the quiet riverside and appreciate the beauty of traditional Japanese aesthetics.

SATSUKI May Room (up to 2 people)

A Japanese-modern designed room featuring one single bed and one semi-double bed. It includes a work desk, and from the window, you can overlook the wooden deck. The stylish interior combines mortar and clay walls, blending the tranquility of traditional Japanese design with modern aesthetics.

YURI Lily Room (up to 2 people)

A comfortable Japanese-style room with two single beds and a work desk. The warm natural light pouring in from the large windows enhances the calming atmosphere of the room. This room is perfect for business use or a relaxing stay.

AYAME Iris Room (up to 2 people)

A functional room featuring two single beds, a work desk, and a refrigerator. The large window allows bright south-facing light to pour in, while the chic design of concrete and white walls gives the room a sophisticated, modern feel. This room is suitable for a wide range of uses, from business to tourism.

KIRI Paulownia Room (up to 2 people)

A simple and functional room with two single beds, a work desk, and a refrigerator. The room features a large window facing south and a lower window on the east side, offering beautiful views of the bamboo grove and the confluence of the river. The combination of concrete and white walls creates a simple yet chic space, perfect for a peaceful stay.
